Townsville heat is never fun.
30+ degrees celsius outside (and inside), humidity so high that it disables our most efficient cooling system - sweat. Not exactly my favourite time of year, especially for someone who is partial to cold weather.
But it smells like Christmas here. There is a particular flower that blooms outside my window every year, from December to February. Combined with musty air-conditioners (abandoned in the cooler months of the year) and tinsel, it reminds me of the holidays.
I'm not exactly sure why, but tonight I felt like making paper snowflakes. I thought I'd share one with you. I kinda feel like doing a christmas themed shoot! I hope my lens comes before then.
